If you are travelling with a group of friends to see any of the England games then one of the cheapest ways to get to Germany is to drive to the port and go by ferry. We recommend a website site called Ferry routes it searches all ferry operators and ports and offers the best deal and cheapest prices available.

For example if you want to go to see England V Paris on the 10th of June 2006 in Frankfurt and you can cross from Dover to Dunkirk on the 9 June 2006 and come back on the 11 June 2006 this way missing the traffic ether side of the game. You can could cross for as little as £49.00 and if there are 4 of you in the car that’s just £12.25 each. Once you get to Dunkirk it is only about a 6Hr drive.

You can also go from Harwich to Hook on the same days as above for £316.00. To drive from Hook to Frankfurt its approximately a 5Hr drive.

Remember that Petrol is generally cheaper in the EU so it will cost you less to drive.
